Haulmark Equipment becomes sole distributor for Rubble Master in UK and Ireland

Warrington-based company Haulmark has been awarded the sole distributorship for Rubble Master in the UK and Ireland from 1st April 2009. Part of the ECY Group, Haulmark is already one of Europe’s largest suppliers of demolition equipment and has been supplying the Rubble Master compact crusher and screen range in the Midlands and Northern England since 1999. The new agreement will double the area to which Haulmark supplies Rubble Master products, and sales are expected to double to match.

Haulmark’s Managing Director Richard Yarwood says:
“We are delighted to be awarded the distributor rights for Rubble Master products in the UK and Ireland. The Rubble Master compact recyclers have become a synonym for recycling equipment. They are very well designed machines that really meet the requirements of the industry and have an unrivalled reputation, so we’re proud to supply them.

“We’ve been working with the company for 12 years and during this time we have seen a growing demand for their products. However, the UK and Ireland are still lagging behind Europe in the recycling of demolition materials, by about 10 years.

Because the Rubble Master compact crushers can be used on site to produce high quality grain which can be reused, sometimes even on the same site, these machines could genuinely reduce the amount of demolition materials going into landfill sites. We hope to help the UK and Ireland get up to speed.”

Rubble Master HMH is based in Linz, Austria and has grown to become the market leader in compact recycling since its inception in 1991. The machines produce homogenous cubic value grain from construction debris and natural rock on-site and from a wide range of materials. They are easy to transport, made from high quality components and can be operated by one person. The Rubble Master screens are designed to work in harmony with the compact crushers producing refined recycling materials and high value final grain.

Haulmark Equipment was formed in 1992 to supply equipment to the demolition, recycling and rehandling industries, and incorporated into the ECY Group of Companies in 1995. The company has evolved to provide a broad range of products and services to these core industries, including the supply and service of steel shears from 15 to 25,000 kilos and crushers from 25 to 24,000 kilos plus a comprehensive range of demolition equipment, demolition tools and demolition attachments.

The company’s original range of ‘Bulldog’ mechanical attachments and ‘Dudley’ range of scrap processing shears was expanded in 1996 with the UK introduction of products by Europe’s No.1 manufacturer, VTN Europe.

The portfolio continued to grow, with the 1999 addition of Rubble Master compact crushers and screens. In 2002, Haulmark was awarded the prestigious UK dealership for the LaBounty range of demolition and scrap processing shears.

In 2008, Haulmark was made the sole UK & Ireland dealer for OilQuick systems, the world leading manufacturer of quick coupler systems with automatic hose coupler function for excavators, wheeled loaders, and recycling machines.

Whatever your Demolition, Recycling or Rehandling requirements Haulmark have the expertise to provide you with the best tools for the job. For more details, visit www.haulmarkltd.co.uk or call 01925 269900.

Master of the Rubble

The Rubble Master compact crusher and screen in action

Investing in the Rubble Master RM80 compact crusher from Haulmark, one of Europe's largest suppliers of demolition equipment, has really opened new doors for leading aggregate, crushing and screening company Coldcarr Recycling Ltd.

Due to its power and versatility, the compact crusher has become a vital piece of equipment for the company, which specialises in the development and re-processing of rubble and other waste concrete.

The RM80 can process a wide range of materials enabling Coldcarr to take on demolition rubble jobs for asphalt and tarmac which they were unable to do with the jaw crushers they had been using. Now the company works with local authorities and county councils to re-produce all their maintenance highways arisings for redistribution around the country.

Coldcarr Recycling Ltd’s Managing Director Barry Morrisson says:
“We first took the RM80 on hire to trial and were very impressed – since then we have bought three from Haulmark. It’s a very well-built machine and has given us a lot more scope to process a range of materials. With this compact crusher, we are getting through about 100 to 120 tonnes an hour and it rarely blocks.

“People who haven’t seen the RM80 in action are always very impressed. We’re so pleased with its performance and the service from Haulmark over the last 5 years or so that we wouldn’t even consider changing. Even in these difficult economic times, we’re finding that we are still getting plenty of work coming in, and if it wasn’t for quality equipment like the RM80, we couldn’t consistently deliver our efficient, cost-effective service.”

Thanks to its excellent intake and crusher kinematics, the machine has a continuous high throughput, while a magnetic separator removes any metal contamination from the crushed material. It can be operated by one person and manoeuvred using a remote control, even in tight spaces and mountainous areas. The machine has also been rated highly by the Environmental Agency for minimal dust and low sound levels.

Managing Director Richard Yarwood at Haulmark Ltd comments:
“We first took on the Rubble Master compact crushers and screens in 1999 to meet an increasing demand from the recycling industry. Since then the demand has just grown and grown. These machines really meet the requirements of the recycling market - they can crush any aggregate material and the grain is a really high quality and can be produced in any size. ”

Haulmark Ltd offers a range of equipment to the demolition, recycling and rehandling industries, including grabs, munchers, grapples, crushers, buckets, hydraulic cutters, steel shears and excavator attachments from the most respected names in the industry: Rubble Master, VTN Europe, LaBounty and OilQuick.
